Reporting to the manager of engineering, and based at the Druva office in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, you will have the opportunity to develop and apply your knowledge and education. Over the course of the year, you will get exposure to all areas in the engineering team with the opportunity to specialise in the area you are interested in pursuing. You'll work with mentors who will help you grow, develop your skills and accelerate your career! You will also have the opportunity to gain AWS certification. *Candidates may be considered for a permanent contract on successful completion of the graduate programme.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop applications in AWS EC2, ECS, API Gateways, and Lambda
  • Develops software modules for various parts of the system
  • Understand and maintain existing code-base, adds features, fix bugs, re-factors existing code
  • Utilize technical skills to coordinate enhancements, support, and troubleshoot efforts
  • Coordinate with the team with respect to issues and follow-up
  • Respond to customer queries/clarifications in a timely manner
  • Learns to accurately estimate work assigned to self
  • Seeks help and advice from others when stuck to resolve existing issues at the earliest

What We Are Looking For:

  • Min 2:1 Degree and/or Master Degree in Computer Science, S/W Development/Engineering, or related degree
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, React, Golang, and/or Python
  • Familiarity with AWS EC2, EC2, EKS, Lambda, API, Node.js, Java
  • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it e.g. Express, Sequelize, etc.
  • Understanding of Automation testing using Cypress, Selenium, etc.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
  • Understanding of REST APIs - Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or other API testing frameworks
  • Good Database Knowledge (SQL, Oracle Database)
  • Understanding of Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS, Azure)
  • Insight into gathering requirements and analysis for a project
  • Passion for continuous learning
